Designed by Arve Båtevik, Skandia draws on a rediscovered neo-grotesque from the Norwegian National Railway to build a rational, clean-lined geometric sans suited to branding, advertising and digital work. The superfamily spans four subfamilies — standard, Narrow, Condensed and Mono — each offered in eight weights with matching italics, giving the system considerable range across widths and applications. Latin coverage is broad, extending from Western and Central European to Nordic, Baltic, Celtic and Sami languages.
