Part of a three-subfamily system alongside Display and Standard variants, the Text cut is shaped for sustained reading with optical calibration suited to smaller sizes. Six weights from Light to ExtraBold each carry a matching italic, while OpenType features include alternate forms for a, g, y, k and the ampersand, plus case-sensitive forms, tabular figures and fraction support. The alternate ÄÖÜ and punctuation options give German-language work additional typographic control.
