Designed by Rostislav Vaněk with collaboration from Matyáš Machat and Petr Kučera, Epika Condensed runs from ExtraLight to Black with matching italics throughout. The foundry describes its character as a meeting of British typographic discipline and Italian sensibility, expressed through subtle quirks and unexpected letterform decisions that sit within a balanced construction. Nineteen stylistic sets and a broad OpenType feature set including small caps, swash, oldstyle figures and discretionary ligatures give it considerable flexibility for editorial and display use.
