Typograf Condensed
Superior Type · Rostislav Vaněk

A uniwidth condensed sans-serif in 18 styles, built so that character widths remain constant across all weights to keep UI layouts stable.
About
Designed by Rostislav Vaněk with collaboration from Matyáš Machat and Petr Kučera, Typograf Condensed applies a uniwidth principle where every glyph occupies the same horizontal space regardless of weight. This prevents text reflow and layout shift in buttons, tables and interface components when styles change. The family spans nine weights from Thin to Black, each with a matching italic, and is available as a variable font with Latin and Cyrillic coverage across 342 languages.
Classification
A condensed grotesque sans-serif built around uniwidth principles, where every style shares identical character widths to maintain stable layouts across UI states and weights.
