Blinker specimen from Supertype

A low-contrast geometric sans built on a squircle foundation, with nine weights including a dedicated headline cut featuring a taller x-height and tighter spacing.

About

Designed by Jürgen Huber and released in 2019, Blinker uses a squircle as its underlying shape, producing curves that read as squarish rather than fully circular. The family suits medium to large text settings rather than running copy, and the Headline weight takes this further with an enlarged x-height and narrower, more tightly spaced glyphs. Available for free via Google Fonts and the foundry's own site, it covers 135 languages across a Latin extended glyph set of 469 glyphs.

Classification

Low-contrast sans serif built on a squircle base shape, giving it a geometric character with softened, rounded corners rather than strict circles or hard squares.
