Yamas! specimen from Taylor Penton

A hand-drawn, high-contrast display face with a subtle wobble and wavy stylistic alternates accessed via Shift.

About

Drawn in a single sitting with the same song on loop, Yamas! carries visible hand-made energy through high contrast strokes and a gentle irregularity in the letterforms. A set of wavy alternates adds a second register for when a looser, more undulating feel is wanted. The 220-glyph set covers basic Latin plus a broad range of accented characters for Western and Central European languages.

Classification

A single-weight, high-contrast display face with hand-drawn origins and a deliberate wobble; the wavy alternates and informal energy place it firmly in the expressive display category rather than any conventional serif or sans classification.
