TG Glifko
Tegamitype · Iqbal Firdaus · 2020

A contemporary grotesque sans with mixed apertures that give it an unconventional, lively character across seven weights with matching italics.
About
Designed by Iqbal Firdaus and released in 2020, TG Glifko pairs large and small apertures within a single grotesque framework, producing a slightly irregular rhythm that distinguishes it from more neutral genre entries. Fourteen styles run from UltraLight to ExtraBold with italics throughout, and OpenType features include stylistic alternates, case-sensitive forms, fractions and superscript figures. Latin coverage extends to over 200 languages, making it viable for broad multilingual publishing and display work.
Classification
The foundry explicitly describes TG Glifko as a contemporary sans-serif grotesque, characterised by a mix of large and small apertures that give it an unusual, quirky quality distinct from neutral grotesques.
