sans-serifink-trap sans
Fuuld specimen from That That Type

A single-weight ink-conscious sans serif covering an extended Latin character set with OpenType support for fractions, ordinals and superscript.

About

Designed with ink spread in mind, Fuuld draws on the tradition of ink-trap construction to keep letterforms crisp at small sizes and under printing pressure. It ships in one weight with a broad Latin character set that includes Latin Extended-A and -B coverage, making it serviceable across Western and Central European languages. OpenType features include fractions, ordinals, superscript and a small set of alternates for characters such as J, i and j.

Classification

Described explicitly as an ink-conscious sans serif, meaning its design accounts for ink spread at smaller sizes, a trait associated with ink-trap or ink-conscious grotesque construction.
