Abraham specimen from The Designers Foundry

A hand-drawn display typeface by Jan Willem Wennekes with four contextual alternates per letter and optional retro interlocking discretionary ligatures.

About

Designed by Jan Willem Wennekes of Zeptonn, Abraham combines a soft, organic character with a confident stroke that makes it suitable for display headlines, packaging and branding. Each letter carries four variations that cycle automatically when contextual alternates are active, producing a more convincingly hand-lettered appearance. Discretionary ligatures add a retro interlocking effect, and the 564-glyph set covers a wide range of Latin-extended languages.

Classification

A single-weight hand-drawn display face with organic, illustrated letterforms and contextual alternates that simulate natural variation; firmly a display typeface rather than a text or script family.
