Shape specimen from The Designers Foundry

A contemporary geometric sans in 18 styles by Christoph York, spanning Hairline to Super with matching italics throughout.

About

Designed by Berlin and London-based Christoph York, Shape is a geometric sans built around an open, content-first aesthetic with a subtle warmth to its construction. Nine weights from Hairline to Super are paired with corresponding italics, giving the family broad range for both display and text applications. OpenType features include discretionary ligatures, case-sensitive forms, tabular figures and alternate characters for g and y.

Classification

The foundry explicitly describes Shape as a contemporary geometric type family built with precision and simplicity, consistent with the geometric sans-serif tradition of circular, constructed letterforms.
