Designed by Drew Melton, a Los Angeles-based graphic designer and letterer with clients including Nike and Penguin Books, it draws directly from vernacular sign painting references across the city. A Stylistic Set offers alternate letterforms, and the glyph set of 172 characters covers a broad range of Latin-based languages. Best suited to branding, packaging and editorial work where a hand-lettered Americana quality is wanted.
