sans-serifgeometric sans
Superspitze specimen from The Designers Foundry

A bold geometric sans with humanist touches, offering an alternative stylistic set and decorative swash characters drawn from a near-century-old Schelter & Giesecke specimen book.

About

Designed by Patrick Martin, a graduate of Bauhaus University Weimar, this single-weight geometric sans sits between the precision of Futura and the warmth of more humanist designs. A secondary stylistic set simplifies forms for smaller text sizes, while a suite of Art Nouveau-influenced swash characters, taken from a Schelter & Giesecke specimen of around 100 years ago, provides decorative character suited to headlines and identity work. Language coverage spans 484 glyphs across a wide range of Latin-based scripts.

Classification

Explicitly inspired by bold geometric typefaces such as Futura, Erbar and Kabel, with slightly more humanist detailing; fits squarely within the geometric sans category.
