Based on types cast by Alexander Wilson of Glasgow in 1760, this revival redraws the original roman and italic faithfully before extending the family with a Medium and Bold. Wilson's types were known for their even colour and vigorous fit at smaller sizes, qualities that carry through here and make the face well-suited to long-form book typography. The character set adds small capitals, ligatures, old-style figures and a set of printer's flowers drawn from the same historical source.
