Drawing from Frutiger's legibility-first principles, Gelder Sans blends grotesque structure with humanist warmth to produce a typeface suited to both screen and print. The family spans eight weights with matching italics across 16 fonts in total, and includes over 1,000 characters covering Western, Central and South European scripts as well as Vietnamese. Alternate characters, small caps, ligatures and ten numeral variants give designers room to work at a typographic level beyond the basic.
