A contemporary text serif in eight weights with true italics, broad OpenType feature support and coverage across Western, Southern and Central European Latin.
About
Leida is a refined text serif designed for everyday reading scenarios, drawing on typographic history while being drafted directly in modern design software to maintain clean line quality. Each of the eight weights ships with a true italic and over 900 characters, with OpenType features covering fourteen number variations including oldstyle, tabular, fractions, inferiors and circled figures. Alternate forms for lowercase a, e, g and y, plus small caps, give the family flexibility for editorial and book work.
Classification
Leida is described as a refined serif type family designed for text reading, with a cheerful personality and balanced functionality, placing it within contemporary text serifs rather than any strictly historical classification.
