Lintel Next specimen from The Northern Block

An evolution of The Northern Block's 2012 Lintel, redrawn across six widths with Greek and Vietnamese support added under Tasos Varipatis.

About

Originally released in 2012, this geometric sans has been substantially expanded and redrawn, with five new widths running from Compressed to Extended now sitting alongside the standard cut. The hand-drawn approach of Tasos Varipatis softens the geometric rigidity common to the genre, introducing pill-shaped curves that keep the letterforms approachable without losing their structural precision. Coverage extends to Western, Southern and Central European Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese, across a 1222-character set with broad OpenType feature support.

Classification

Explicitly described as a geometric sans-serif inspired by architectural principles, featuring pill-shaped curves and carefully proportioned letterforms that balance structure with a flowing aesthetic.
