Rooted in the classical romanesque letterforms of Basilea, originally drawn by Markus Low in 1965, this revival steers the design toward a contemporary register without losing the chisel-like tension of its source material. Eight weights run from Thin to Ultra, each paired with a matching oblique, giving the family range across headline and display settings. OpenType features include small caps, ten numeral variants, 14 alternates, and coverage of Western, Southern and Central European Latin.
