Constructed on a strict grid yet tempered by smooth corners, Metral sits between cool precision and everyday approachability. The family runs to seven weights, each with an oblique, and includes over 650 characters per style along with OpenType features covering alternate letterforms, fractions and tabular figures. Language support extends across Western, Southern and Central European Latin scripts, and version 2.0 brought improved OpenType implementation throughout.
