Tengu specimen from The Northern Block

A single-weight multiline display face digitised from Gustavo Pardo Sarmiento's 1973 Tangui, built on an intricate wire-like parallel-line structure.

About

Digitised and expanded from Gustavo Pardo Sarmiento's Tangui (1973), the typeface uses a wireframe construction of fine parallel lines to produce an effect that reads as simultaneously retro and futuristic. Over 400 characters are included with OpenType support for lining figures, fractions and Western, Southern and Central European languages. Best suited to display contexts such as posters, apparel and cover work where the ornate structure can be read at scale.

Classification

A wireframe multiline display face digitised from a 1973 original; the intricate parallel-line structure places it firmly in decorative display territory with no body-text application.
