About
Originally released as a dry-transfer typeface for the French company Mecanorma in 1974, New Zelek became the most recognisable typeface of communist-era Polish advertising and found its way onto international music album covers. The Pro revival was consulted directly with Zelek, a leading figure of the Polish School of Posters, and brings over 9,000 kerning pairs, additional characters absent from the analogue original, and connected and unconnected variants for creative handling of diacritical marks. Latin and Cyrillic scripts are included.
