Variable Radius specimen from Threedotstype

A variable display typeface by Radek Łukasiewicz with three axes controlling top, bottom and width parameters, optimised for setting type on circular paths.

About

Radius is a variable font with three axes, top, bottom and width, that allow characters to morph across a wide range of contours. While it functions on a conventional baseline, its design intent is circular setting, where the variable axes adjust the anatomy of each character to follow curved shapes. This listing is for the physical specimen booklet, a 64-page pocket dictionary of English, French and Polish circle-related proverbs printed on fluorescent and Munken white papers.

Classification

Radius is a display typeface built around a variable font axis system controlling top, bottom and width parameters, designed specifically to morph characters when set on circular or curved baselines.
