Nomada
Tipografies · Jordi Embodas, María Ramos, Fer Rodríguex, Òscar Cobo · 2019

A five-family type system by four Tipografies designers, spanning Incise, Sans, Serif, Slab and Didone styles with shared contemporary proportions and open counters.
About
Released in 2019 by Jordi Embodas, María Ramos, Fer Rodríguex and Òscar Cobo, Nomada unites five formally distinct subfamilies under a single design attitude, allowing switches between incise, grotesque, serifed, slab and high-contrast Didone styles without losing visual coherence. Each subfamily runs across nine weights from Hairline to Extrablack with matching italics, giving 18 styles per family. Open counters and apertures are consistent across all five, making the system equally at home in print and on screen.
Classification
Nomada is a five-family collection spanning Incise, Sans, Serif, Slab and Didone styles, making it a multi-style system rather than a single category. The page being scraped is for the Incise subfamily, which features chiselled letterforms with engraved stroke endings characteristic of incise type.
