Designed in 2008 by Jordi Embodas, Orenga pairs flared stems and subtly bulging stroke endings with a narrow footprint and large x-height, making it functional at small sizes while remaining characterful at display scales. Nine styles run from Light to Black with matching italics, and the character set includes small caps, oldstyle figures, alternates and a broad Latin extended script coverage. The organic quality of the letterforms lends itself to food, environmental and children's publishing, while the structure remains disciplined enough for packaging and branding.
