Euphemia
Tiro Typeworks · Ross Mills

A humanist serif by Ross Mills supporting both pan-European Latin and Canadian Syllabics scripts for Cree, Inuktitut, Ojibwe and related languages.
About
Designed by Ross Mills with remastering by John Hudson and Paul Hanslow, Euphemia runs across eight styles from Regular to Bold Italic, with variable font builds also available. It ships in three purchasable subsets: a full Latin plus Syllabics version, a Latin-only subset covering major European and certain Indigenous Latin orthographies, and a Syllabics-only subset offered on a pay-what-you-want basis. OpenType features include localised forms for Carrier, Nunavik and Beaver Syllabics dialects, small caps, old-style figures and arbitrary fractions.
Classification
Euphemia is a humanist serif designed to harmonise Latin and Canadian Syllabics scripts in a single typeface, with open, readable letterforms suited to multilingual text setting.
