Built on a strict grid with diagonal emphasis and connected letterforms, Ice Tray takes its formal logic from the frozen water bridges of ice cube trays. The three-style family is designed purely for display use, with deliberately unorthodox letterforms kept in check by rigid grid alignment. A generous set of stylistic sets covers alternate single and double storey letters, art deco variants and simplified forms, giving the face considerable flexibility within its eccentric framework.
