A contemporary serif by Maksym Kobuzan that pairs smooth curves with sharp blade serifs and spurs, winner of a Type Directors Club Typographic Excellence Certificate in 2023.
About
Designed by Kyiv-based Maksym Kobuzan, the typeface began as a study of Caslon but diverged substantially under the influence of calligraphy and modern serif design, resulting in a distinctive tension between fluid curves and cutting edges. Three weights from Regular to Bold are available with corresponding italics, covering an extended Latin character set plus Ukrainian and Bulgarian Cyrillic. Published under the SIL Open Font License whilst still in active development, with further weights and refinements planned.

Rooted in study of Caslon but substantially transformed by calligraphic influence and modern serif conventions, featuring contrasting smooth and sharp curves with blade serifs and spurs.
