Built on the logic of Felka's Latin — capitals reduced to three stacked fat bars, lowercase to just two — this Arabic companion extends the family's radical minimalism into Arabic script. The design sits within a broader Felka suite that includes Brick and Leaf subfamilies, all sharing the same underlying tension between 19th-century display excess and early 20th-century geometric restraint. OpenType features include lining and oldstyle figures, stylistic alternates, case-sensitive forms and dedicated figure-switching options for Latin numerals within Arabic text.
Classification
A radical display face drawing on 19th-century extremes such as Caslon Italian, with capitals built from three fat bars and a minimal two-bar lowercase. The slab construction and extreme weight contrast place it firmly in the display category.
