About
Rooted in the circular-point Redis nib that made monolinear handwriting accessible to commercial letterers in the Belle Époque era, the design captures a playful, semi-formal quality while remaining a disciplined typographic tool. Seven weights run from Thin to Black in a single roman width, supported by an unusually rich set of OpenType features including swash capitals, multiple alternate forms, several figure sets, fractions and comprehensive diacritics for Western, Central and Eastern European Latin languages. It sits well in packaging, editorial headings and any context where warmth and historical character are wanted without the weight of formal calligraphy.
