Originally completed in 1991 and based on the Latine typographic tradition, the design uses triangular serifs as its defining feature while remaining legible enough for body copy as well as display settings. The italic was drawn from flat-headed brush forms, giving it a festive, lively quality distinct from the roman. The Pro release adds a broad range of OpenType features including small caps, multiple figure styles, swash caps and fractions, making it the most feature-complete version available.
