Created during a stay in Tokyo in 2001, BD Alm translates the visual character of Katakana script into Latin letterforms. The result is a single-weight display face with a distinctly angular, stylised quality suited to headlines and short text rather than body copy. Coverage is limited to Basic Latin and a small selection of Latin-1 Supplement glyphs.
