BD Electrobazar 2008 specimen from Type Different

A rave-culture display face from 1995, updated in 2008, originally distributed by Büro Destruct on floppy disk for the European club scene.

About

Originally created in 1995 as part of the Büro Destruct catalogue and sold commercially by Apply Design Group in Germany, the typeface found its footing on event flyers, posters and album covers tied to the techno and rave circuit. The 2008 update expanded the glyph set while preserving the angular, hard-edged character of the original. Available in Regular and Italic, it covers a broad range of Latin-based European languages.

Classification

A club-culture display face with angular, mechanical letterforms designed for rave and techno aesthetics. The all-caps character and event-poster heritage place it firmly in the display category.
