BD Flossy
Type Different · 1995

A 1995 dingbat font from Büro Destruct built entirely from a single sheep character called Flossy, originally created as a Postscript Type 1 encoding experiment in Fontographer.
About
The first typeface released by Büro Destruct, BD Flossy encodes a sheep named Flossy across the character set in place of conventional letterforms. It originated as a technical experiment in encoding Postscript Type 1 fonts using Fontographer on Mac, at a time when the workflow was notoriously troublesome to configure correctly. Available as a free download, it is a curio of mid-1990s type experimentation rather than a workhorse text face.
Classification
BD Flossy is a dingbat/picture font composed entirely of sheep characters rather than alphanumeric glyphs, placing it firmly in the display/ornamental dingbat category.
