BD LoFi specimen from Type Different

A pixel-style typeface originally drawn on an Amiga 1200 in 1997, updated in 2023 with expanded language support and a variable font version.

About

Born from an Amiga 1200 and TypeSmith software in 1997, BD LoFi carries the low-resolution character of late-1990s home computing. The 2023 revision adds a variable font spanning Regular to Bold, alongside extended Latin support covering over twenty European languages. It suits retro-themed digital projects, game interfaces and nostalgic editorial work where a lo-fi aesthetic is intentional.

Classification

Originally drawn on an Amiga 1200 using TypeSmith in 1997, BD LoFi carries the characteristic low-resolution aesthetic of early pixel fonts, placing it firmly in the display/bitmap category.
