Qandus Latin specimen from Type-ø-tones

A Latin display family by Laura Meseguer in three stylistic variants, Solid, Original and Fluid, each available in three weights.

About

Designed by Laura Meseguer, Qandus Latin comes in three distinct sub-families: Solid, Original and Fluid, each running across Regular, Medium and Dark weights for a total of nine styles. The three variants suggest a progression from compact to more expressive, calligraphic forms, making the family suited to editorial headlines and display contexts where rhythm and warmth matter. The Latin release sits alongside an Arabic counterpart, hinting at cross-script influences in the design.

Classification

Qandus Latin offers three stylistic variants (Solid, Original, Fluid) that suggest calligraphic or lettering-derived forms adapted for Latin text, placing it firmly in the display category with script influences.
