Originally designed for film posters and credits in 2015, this modular neo-grotesque now spans five width subfamilies from condensed to extended across 91 styles.

About

Created by the TypeType team for movie poster and credits work, TT Bluescreens Pro has grown from a narrow display sans into a full-width system covering Condensed, Normal, Expanded and Extended subfamilies alongside the base family. The fourth version, released in early 2026, unifies all five widths into a single variable font with axes for weight, width and slant, and covers over 240 languages across Latin and Cyrillic. With 877 glyphs per style and 30 OpenType features including stylistic sets and localisation support, it suits branding, packaging, posters and event materials.

Classification

A modular neo-grotesque with no stroke contrast and geometric, modular construction. The family spans extreme width variants from condensed to extended, originally designed for narrow display use in film contexts.
