An animal alphabet typeface in which each letterform is built around an actual animal, covering a full Latin character set across three styles: Line, Inner and Filled.
About
Rather than retrofitting tails and whiskers onto an existing typeface, Fabel constructs every letter around its corresponding animal, letting the creature's natural form dictate the shape. The family spans 330 characters from the A of Anteater to the Z of Zander, including upper and lower case, punctuation, old-style and tabular numerals, and a broad range of mathematical symbols. Three styles, Line, Inner and Filled, give designers control over visual weight and detail level.
Classification
Fabel is a display typeface in which each letterform is constructed from an animal illustration, making it a pictorial or novelty face rather than a conventional text or titling type.
