Zubtrak Stencil
Typeland · Vaibhav Singh · 2020

A sharp stencil serif in two weights by Vaibhav Singh, built for display use with a variable axis and a dry, angular character.
About
Released in October 2020, Zubtrak Stencil pairs a serif structure with hard stencil interruptions to produce a typeface suited to posters, editorial headlines and any context that wants a no-nonsense edge. It ships in Regular and Black, both with variable axes, and covers standard Latin in OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2 formats. The foundry's own copy takes a pointed tone against type marketing clichés, which suits a face that is itself fairly blunt in its design language.
Classification
Classified as a sharp stencil serif by the foundry; the stencil cuts interrupt otherwise serif letterforms, placing it firmly in the display stencil tradition with a serif skeleton.
