Designed by Lisa Fischbach in 2022, Edie & Eddy Text sits between the high-contrast Modern and the stable Slab as the middle voice of a three-part variable superfamily. Its italics carry long in- and outstrokes with rounded diagonals, and stylistic alternates allow a more cursive reading with sans-serif ascenders, alternate a and g forms, and a script-style s. The family covers Latin and Vietnamese with over 850 glyphs per font, and includes small caps, multiple figure styles and hand emoji.
