Drawn by Jakob Runge and released in 2017, Harrison Serif sits within the Clarendon and Ionic tradition, pairing a rational structure of squarish curves, open counters and near-vertical terminals with slightly carved serifs that give it a warmer character. The eighteen-style family covers nine weights with matching italics that shift between cursive expressiveness and the sobriety of slanted obliques, making it flexible across both editorial and interface contexts. A TDC Certificate of Typographic Excellence in 2018 recognised its design, and the family is available as a variable font with broad Latin language support and a full suite of OpenType features including small caps and multiple figure styles.
