About
Neumeyer designed Norbert without a regular width, variable font or interpolated weights, treating each of the 18 styles as a standalone artefact rather than a point on a slider. The family comes in Schmal (condensed) and Breit (extended), each with Mager, Normal and Fett weights, plus conventional italics and a backslanted Kontra variant. Cyrillic was proofed by native experts and the family won the Granshan Award's first prize for Cyrillics in 2022, alongside a TDC Certificate of Typographic Excellence.
