Designed by Andreu Balius in 1997 and revised in 2003, Czeska takes the carved, tactile quality of early 20th-century woodcut printing as its direct source. An OpenType glyph alternation feature introduces variation as you type, reinforcing the handmade rhythm without sacrificing legibility. The family covers Regular and Italic styles with an extensive range of characters, ligatures and OpenType features including historical forms and multiple stylistic sets.
