Designed in 2007, Taüll draws on ancient blackletter and lapidary scripts from the Southern European Pyrenean tradition, evoking Romanesque churches and mountain villages. Its capital letters are sharp and commanding, tempered by subtle humanistic irregularities that soften the severity typical of northern Gothic forms. A single Regular weight covers an extensive Latin language range including localised forms for Catalan and Dutch.
