About
Originally drawn for ELEPHANT magazine and later used in PORT magazine and the US edition of WIRED, this condensed caps-only face was donated to the BuyFontsSaveLives initiative in memory of designer Matt Willey's father. The 2021 rework, undertaken with assistance from Diana Ovezea, expanded the character set and brought the weight count to Regular and Heavy, aligning it with the companion MFred Rounded. Alternate glyphs for G, K, M, R and W give some typographic flexibility within the single-case design. All sales raise funds for Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.
