Organon
Typespec · Nick Cooke

A paired sans and serif family by G-Type's Nick Cooke, sharing cap heights, x-heights and stem widths for seamless typographic pairing.
About
Designed by Nick Cooke of G-Type, Organon comprises a sans and a serif cut that share identical proportional values across cap height, x-height, stem width and ascender/descender metrics. This charity volume, released through the BuyFontsSaveLives campaign in aid of Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Support, includes Regular and Bold weights from each family, totalling four fonts. The matched proportions make it straightforward to mix the two styles across a single layout without visual inconsistency.
Classification
Organon is a paired sans and serif family; categorised as sans-serif as the sans is the lead style, with a companion serif sharing identical proportions. The humanist subcategory fits given the emphasis on legibility and elegance.
