Typewalk Mono 1915
Typocalypse · Sven Fuchs · 2016

A fixed-width grotesque rooted in early 20th-century European sign-painting and Werkbund lettering tradition, designed by Sven Fuchs between 2012 and 2016.
About
Eight weights from Thin to Bold give the family a broad tonal range for editorial, cultural and branding work at small and large sizes. The typewriter-inflected forms reference the proto-rational graphic language associated with Werkbund Objectivity circa 1915, lending the family a period character without resorting to pastiche. A proportional companion, Typewalk 1915, is also available for contexts where fixed spacing is not required.
Classification
Classified as mono because it uses fixed-width spacing throughout; stylistically it draws from early 20th-century European sign painting and proto-rational grotesque lettering, placing it within the grotesque mono subcategory.
