Plotter Hand
Typotheque · Nikola Djurek · 2017

A sub-family of Nikola Djurek's Plotter super-family, simulating the irregular letterforms produced by manually tracing architectural stencils.
About
Plotter Hand captures the slight imprecision of hand-guided stencil lettering from technical draughting practice, distinguishing it from the mechanically precise cuts elsewhere in the Plotter family. The forms are monolinear with round terminals, reduced to stems, arms, curves and diagonals in the manner of technical pen lettering. Two stylistic sets provide alternative forms for the lowercase 'a' and a serifless capital 'I', with the full family available as part of the 47-font Plotter Suite.
Classification
Plotter Hand is a monolinear sans with irregular, hand-drawn qualities derived from architectural stencil use, placing it firmly in the technical/stencil sans tradition rather than conventional grotesque or geometric categories.
