Typonine Hairline
Typotheque · Nikola Djurek · 2009

A hairline-weight humanist sans by Nikola Djurek, designed exclusively for very large sizes where its near-zero stroke contrast still reads as warm and refined.
About
Part of Nikola Djurek's wider Typonine collection, this hairline cut sits at the extreme thin end of the family and is intended for exhibition settings, posters and large editorial headlines. Despite having no visible contrast between thick and thin strokes, the letterforms retain the warm, personal character of a humanist sans. Eight numeral styles are included, from proportional lining to circled inverted figures, with the option to set a custom default. Cyrillic was drawn by Ilya Ruderman, extending coverage across a substantial range of Latin and Cyrillic languages.
Classification
Described explicitly as a humanist sans serif, the Hairline is the extreme thin cut of the broader Typonine family, designed with warm, balanced proportions despite near-zero stroke contrast.
