Zed Display Extra-Compressed

One width variant within an exceptionally large type system spanning nine widths, three optical subfamilies and nine weights, with slanted and backslanted styles throughout.
About
Zed Display Extra-Compressed is the most tightly set cut in the Zed Display subfamily, part of a system that stretches from Extra-Compressed to Extra-Wide across Display, Round and Text optical variants. Each width offers nine weights from Hairline to Black, each with upright, slanted and backslanted styles, named after cities. The system also includes a variable font and an icons subfamily, making Zed one of the most architecturally ambitious type systems available from a European foundry.
Classification
Zed is a display-oriented geometric sans with an extensive width axis; the Extra-Compressed cut is the most condensed variant in the Display subfamily, designed for headlines and large-scale typesetting.
