Zed Round Semi-Wide

A semi-wide variant within Typotheque's vast Zed system, combining rounded terminals with an extended width across nine weights and three slope variants.
About
Zed Round Semi-Wide sits within one of the most extensive width-and-weight systems in contemporary type design, spanning nine widths from Extra-Compressed to Extra-Wide across Display, Round and Text subfamilies. The Round subfamily applies softened terminals to the geometric skeleton, distinguishing it from the sharper Display cuts while sharing the same structural logic. Each weight runs in three slopes — upright, Slanted and Backslanted — with weights named after world cities from Amsterdam through Zaragoza.
Classification
Zed Round Semi-Wide is part of a large geometric sans system with rounded terminals; the Round subfamily distinguishes itself from the sharper Display cuts through softened stroke endings across all widths.
