Liza Lettering™

An app-and-font system by Underware that generates millions of hand-lettering variations from a single typeface using context-sensitive glyphs, swashes and ligatures.
About
Rather than a conventional typeface, Liza Lettering pairs an OpenType font with a dedicated macOS app that lets users compose hand-lettered headlines with contextual glyph selection, a lettermixer, smart suggestions and an extensive swash set. The resulting lettering can be copied directly into InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop, exported as PNG, or deployed as a webfont via clean CSS and HTML markup that leaves the underlying text content intact and indexable. The combination of app intelligence and a deeply encoded font creates a volume of variation described by Underware as exceeding the number of stars in the universe for even a modest word.
Classification
Liza Lettering is a script/lettering typeface with context-sensitive glyph variations, swashes and ligatures designed to mimic hand-lettering; it falls squarely in the script category with a focus on expressive, calligraphic lettering rather than formal script conventions.
